Terms of Use

Last updated: 01/06/2026

These Terms of Use govern your organisation’s use of the Resources Planner application (“Resources Planner”), developed and provided by JFDI Consulting Ltd. By installing, accessing, or using Resources Planner in your Microsoft 365 environment, you agree to these Terms.

Overview

Resources Planner is a SharePoint Framework (SPFx) solution designed to operate within Microsoft 365 and SharePoint Online. These Terms apply specifically to the Resources Planner application and its related licensing services, and not to other JFDI Consulting Ltd products or public websites.

Licence and usage rights

  • Resources Planner is licensed to your organisation through a connected SaaS service made available via the Microsoft commercial marketplace.
  • Your organisation must maintain an active licence to continue using the application beyond the Essentials tier.
  • Licensing information may be validated through a secure call to our SaaS licensing endpoint. No personal data is transmitted as part of this process.
  • You may deploy Resources Planner within your Microsoft 365 tenant for the number of licensed users or sites permitted under your subscription.

Data handling and ownership

  • Resources Planner stores and processes data exclusively within your organisation’s Microsoft 365 tenant.
  • All demand items, capacity entries, and metadata are stored in SharePoint lists controlled by your organisation.
  • JFDI Consulting Ltd does not access or extract your tenant’s data unless explicitly authorised for support purposes.
  • Your organisation retains full ownership and control of all data used within the Resources Planner application.

User responsibilities

You agree that:

  • You will use Resources Planner in compliance with applicable laws and your organisation’s internal policies.
  • You are responsible for managing permissions and access to the SharePoint sites and lists used by Resources Planner.
  • You will not attempt to modify, decompile, reverse-engineer, or circumvent any part of the application.

Support and updates

  • JFDI Consulting Ltd may provide updates, improvements, or patches to Resources Planner from time to time.
  • Support channels and response commitments are outlined in your organisation’s support agreement with JFDI Consulting Ltd.
  • Continued use of the application requires applying updates when provided.

Security

  • Resources Planner operates within Microsoft 365’s security and compliance framework, including role-based access control and SharePoint permissions.
  • JFDI Consulting Ltd does not introduce third-party tracking, analytics, or data-collection components inside the web part.
  • All licensing endpoints use encrypted (HTTPS) connections.

Service availability

  • Availability of Resources Planner depends on Microsoft 365 and SharePoint Online service availability.
  • JFDI Consulting Ltd is not responsible for outages, disruptions, or limitations caused by Microsoft’s underlying services.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • JFDI Consulting Ltd is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use Resources Planner.
  • Liability is limited to the fees paid for the applicable licence term.

Termination

  • Your licence may be terminated if your SaaS subscription lapses or is cancelled.
  • Upon termination, the Resources Planner application will gracefully downgrade to the Essentials tier; paid features are hidden but data is preserved. If the package is uninstalled entirely, the underlying SharePoint lists remain in your tenant unless deleted by your organisation.
